REVIEW cw: ableism, mentions of addiction, foster care, and cancer  Frankie is a sexologist who hosts a podcast specialising in accessibility. In order to answer listener's questions about rope play, she turns to rigger, Jay, for advice. Jay does not do relationships. But as he gets to know Frankie better, he wants things he's never dared dream about.  This is my first book by Evie Mitchell, and initially, I was a little concerned by the number of supporting characters mentioned. I didn’t realise this series was an offshoot of a much larger series. That said, it didn't hinder my enjoyment.  I loved Frankie and appreciated her openness, sense of humour, and her friendships. Jay was adorable, and I empathised with his past. I loved how supportive he was of Frankie. Their chemistry was incendiary, and I enjoyed their banter. If I have one criticism, it's that I wish there'd been a couple more chapters with them getting to know each other, as well as a couple immediately after they transition from 'friends', as it felt very instalove, and consequently didn't really feel earned, given the commitment phobic narrative. Likewise, although I understood Jay had abandonment issues, we never really got into details, and McKenzie's derogatory comments didn't make sense to me as Jay had clearly wanted to commit to her.  But thank goodness for Annie. I do adore a grand gesture, so I loved the ending, and the epilogues were hilarious. I look forward to the next in the series.  Knot perfect, but a sweet and spicy read.
