Reviews: Kilometer Zero (4)
“Kilomerer Zero”
(Paperback)
The author of Kilometer Zero takes the reader on a unique journey through the ups and downs of professional cycling from a supporter and professional cyclist's family perspective. Laura does an amazing job of not only explaining the technical details of professional cycling and the vagaries of cycle racing but also injects humor and humanity into the activity of following the peloton. After reading this book you will not only know a lot more about cycle racing but have a totally different perspective about the sport and greater enjoyment of watching cycle racing too as you will understand the strategy, effort, sacrifice, dangers, and highs that the elite cyclist and their support teams experience.

Loved this book so much, a brilliant insight to the world of cycling.
I’m not a cyclist and you don’t need to be to be fascinated by this story. A brilliant biography I’d highly recommend to everyone.
“Honest and insightful, great read!”

Honest, interesting and clearly knowledgeable portrayal of what it takes to become a professional cyclist. Laura writes well and with humour about the highs and lows of Primož Roglič racing career from the closest perspective.
Kilometer Zero is a highly entertaining and informative read and you don’t have to be a keen cyclist to appreciate it. This book is different and all the better for it!
