This is one of Val McDermid's earlier novels which I had not come across, so was excited to settle down to a good read. I was not disappointed and as is the case with all her novels, this was a real page turner. As one murder follows another, it appears that someone is targeting crime authors and may be working through a list. A great read which I recommend.
