My husband and I have just read 'Keep Her Safe' and both have nothing but praise for the author. It was a fantastic read and as other reviews say - it was gripping! Not normally my kind of book at all but I thoroughly enjoyed it and will most defiantly be recommending it to others. I was in an emotional state by the end with tears streaming down my face! Even my husband had to admit to a tear in his manly eye! It really is a credit to DM Simons! She is a fantastic writer and looking forward to more!!!!!

This is an excellent book for children which can still grip the adult reader and would certainly happily entertain and inform young readers. Some quite difficult events in the experience of the characters are beautifully and sensitively addressed and would support a reader who had had similar experiences. Please have a handkie ready for the final chapter!

Although meant for children (I got this for my kids when they are a bit bigger, as I thought the storyline would be thought provoking) I really enjoyed this myself. We go to Skye regularly and it was nice to have a "local" setting. The characters are believable and the story romps along at good pace. Fun, whilst bringing up a topical ethical issue.

I loved this book! Although targeted to the teenage market this was a fantastic read for adults too. The initial few pages of the book really made you want to read the rest of the story. I found "the Inflictor" to be particularly menacing. More please from DM Simons
