“Brilliant read”
(Paperback)
A touching and entertaining for read for all ages. Most definately a favourite of mine and i would recommend to anyone looking for a engaging and interesting summer read. The story has a raw, realistic feel about it which endears us more towards the characters and brings the story to life.

Another fantastic offering from Burgess. A scarily real account of a life controlled by drugs and the effects on a group of young teenage squatters. This is a great book, as it does not preach to, or patronise the audience, but tells, what i assume, is the truth. Sometimes, this is a wonderful world of bliss & ignorance, other times it is terrifying & dangerous; but always uncertain and subject to change at a moments notice. Without a doubt worth a read, whether you're a teenage rebel, or a middle-age business entrepreneur. Everyone can be affected by this touching story.

they made us read this at school when i was about 13, in an attempt to stop us going "off the rails". it didnt work for most of the kids in the class! still a very good book, but being someone who had similar teenage experiences, i feel it lacks quite a bit of detail (most of which would scare a kid straight for life!)
