“The BEST vegan cookery book!”
(Hardback)
by Grace at Sudbury
To start with, all of Radhi's recipes are absolutely delicious - Every. Single. One. I often find when I get a new recipe book, I'll try out a few, add them to my retinue and then forget to pick it up again, whereas 'Joyfull' has completely transformed the way I eat, and months on I am still reaching for it because I want to try absolutely everything she has to offer. It is also SO much more than just a cookbook, but a lifestyle... it is a guide on mindful eating and cooking practices, daily routines, and an introduction to Ayurveda, a traditional Hindu medicine rooted in healthy diet. I was already a vegetarian but Radhi makes it so easy to integrate more vegan cooking into your diet or to go fully vegan. Radhi also excluded onion and garlic from all her recipes due to their inflammatory nature, some may panic at this, but it opens up your cooking to so many more flavours and spices! (Proof in exchange for honest review).
“Perfect for beginners”

I love how this is so much more than just a cookbook. It's also your introduction to Ayurvedic techniques and general wellness. It helps you live an overall better life and its so engaging to read! The author's upbeat personality shines through on every page, i really hope she ends up writing a more in detailed book about these topics. When it comes to the actual recipes - they are DELICIOUS! Only setback for me personally was that I had to go and buy a lot of new spices that I didn't know existed but I'm happy I ended up expanding my taste palette! I would recommend it to anyone who is fed up of diet culture and just wants to lead an overall healthier lifestyle that benefits your mental health and the environment.
“A Guide to Being Joyfull”

Joyfull is definitely a fitting title for this fantastic cook book by Radhi Devlukia-Shetty. However this is no ordinary cookbook as it encompasses every part of daily life squeezing every morsel of happiness out of the day! I love the brightness and positivity it imbues, and all of the recipies truly look delightful. Even my partner who isn't a vegetarian was impressed by how good they look. We're starting to use the book to not only improve our dinners, but our lives overall too!
