Brilliant, funny and unique are just 3 words to describe Mr Wallace. I am seriously going to try and perform Random Acts of Kindness on Fridays because this book inspired me so much. Read this before 'friends like these' if you can as it makes a bit more sense (though it's not by any means vital).

As the title gives away this is the story of a man who started a cult. But not really by accident. His grandfather had attempted to create a different life and this inspired Danny to give it a go. And also you suspect he was quite bored and wanted to see what would happen. This tale is funny and inspiring in places. The tale follows his journey from start to a finish though for me the writing is a little self indulgent and drags at times. Overall, well worth a look and a strong first outing for Danny Wallace
