Jake Monkey-Tail is an excellent book, both fun and educational. Telling the story of Jake, a little monkey who struggles with his spelling, the author manages to weave in tools and tips to help children who, like Jake, also struggle with their spelling. It really encourages kids and lets them know they are not alone. The illustrations are also fabulous!

A beautiful, engaging story that sends a powerful message to all children struggling with spelling. I'm sure alot of us wished we could have met Mr Spelladictionary Monkey and I really recommend this book. Wonderfully written!

A superb book by a talented and sensitive author. Jake is a lovable and energetic role model for all little people learning to spell. The techniques suggested are all brilliant tools for learning and presented in an engaging and creative way. Lots of fun!

This is a beautiful book! The illustrations are beautiful and the story is entertaining,fun and also educational - although the magic of the book is that your child does not realise he/she is learning while they are listening to or reading the story. I also picked up a few tips on how to make spelling a little bit more interesting! My 6 year old son, is good at spelling; however how he has heard all about Jake, he wants to try even harder! This is great to see!!

This is an entertaining story for children and also adults! The book is beautiful with eye-catching illustrations. Although my children are good at spelling, I was intrigued by the story and also interested to see a story about 'learning'. Priya manages to make the story really fun so that the 'learning' aspect of the story is very subtle. My two boys have been trying really hard with their weekly spelling tests since the story and are trying their best to get full marks each week. They also really enjoyed seeing the different ways that Jake learns to spell. The book is very clever and I would definitely recommend this book to other parents and children. I will be getting Benjamin Writer- Messy next!
