Reviews: It (41)
“It”
(Paperback)
IT is a monster which takes on the form of the thing that frightens you most and after reading it, mine would be this book! I finished it with a sense of relief as at times felt i could have been one of the children.
It was hard work in places as there are so many characters to remember and i felt a little disappointment with the speed at which the conclusion unravelled after wading through so many pages of fantastic detail.
However, this is an epic story, the scariest i have ever read and is definitely worth reading.
“Scary business”
(Paperback)
A discriminative murderer is stalking the streets and most often takes the form of eerie looking clown Pennywise. Can It be stopped?
I love all Stephen King novels but I did find the end of this one a bit bizarre, which is why I marked it down by one star.
“It”
(Paperback)
This was my 6th attempt at this book. Eventually got to the end.
Excellent read. Maybe look for a shorter one for next read.
“It”
(Paperback)
This will be my 6th attempt to get this read in full. Well worth wading through over 1000 pages. Maybe next time go for a shorter Stephen King. Ending was great though.
“Love this cover!!!”
(Paperback)
Was excited for this edition, but sad at the conditions I received it in. Looks like the glue on the spine came undone. And the cover was slightly damaged, but I have it pressed between two heavy books so it should be alright. This is the first I’ve bought from this set of editions and I hope to get them all soon.
