“Massive!”
(Hardback)
by anax32
This book is massive! Not quite A3, but big and heavy. And it has a free poster. I haven't "read" the book from cover to cover, but you can't keep it on your lap without getting a dead leg. The colour images throughout are fantastic to browse, both as examples of infographics and ways of learning those little facts you can bore people with at work/dinner/12 hour train journeys/etc. Its nicely laid out (infographics people love to think of themselves as designers! communicators! storytellers! so you should expect that to be right). The book is broken into a number of chapters which are colour coded down the side of the paper for easy reference. Weirdly, the first chapter is printed on sheets slightly less wide than the rest. This makes the book look a little odd when you rest it flat on your shelf. Which you probably will.
