‘Another Typical Dan brown book.’ But so what, I enjoyed it. I actually found this book more thought provoking than his previous ones, you could imagine the plot line actually happening. If you like Dan Brown, If you want some art history lessons, if you are in to conspiracy theories, if you want an easy reading, short chaptered book that isn’t taxing, but you don’t want to put it down, then this book is for you. We’ve been to Rome (Angels and Demons) and then to Paris (Da Vinci Code). Now we’re off to Florence. I wonder where he’ll take us next?

I am a big fan of Dan Browns previous books, and I was pleasantly surprised by Inferno. I would have to say it was his best book by far! The way the plot changes and the characters change throughout the book just make for an exceptional read. With Dan Browns brilliant description, he makes me want to visit all the places in the books, and I am planning on doing exactly that, hopefully visiting Venice and Florence in the next few years!

I have a fantastic comment about Dan Brown and his new blockbuster of a thriller (because who are we kidding thinking that it wouldn't be) and sadly I cannot take credit for it. I will not quote this person verbatim but the basic gist went something like... 'Inferno was never going to be the most amazing thing ever written, but just because it doesn't find itself short listed for a Pulitzer, the Booker or any other prestigious award for the matter, doesn't mean it isn't a brilliant book!' I have read Dan Brown's backlist and read them all with great enthusiasm, reading into the wee hours of the night, holding my breath and becoming engrossed in such intricate plots that upon re-reading I still 'didn't see it coming'! Throughout 'Inferno' I trusted the author to do what he does best, enthral me, captivate me, TEACH me (Florence will be overwhelmed with fans this year) and keep me guessing till the terrifying conclusion! As you can gather, I really loved this book! This isn't a book to be read with criticism and judgement, it's a book to be read and enjoyed! So go enjoy it!

Dante's classic is not just the backbone of the story. It literally breathes life into the printed words of the author. Great read and a sure candidate for Ron Howard's next Dan Brown movie.

Once I started reading Inferno I just had to keep reading until the final page when all was revealed
