Reviews: I Remember (1)
“A very unusual book.”
(Paperback)
A series of statement about things that author could remember from earlier in his life. A very unnecessary and trivial set of memories, mostly specific to France in the mid 20th century.
Weirdly this book, by the end, actually seems to be a work of genius. It's brilliant because of the almost unprecedented triviality adds an unexpected level of interest, and the mysterious nature of the people and events remembered only adds to the delight of reading this book.
