“The perfect (but highly emotional ending) for my favourite northern witches!”
(Hardback)
by Chloe at Trafford Centre
Where do I start without giving away any spoilers?! This was the perfect ending to my favourite northern witches! But note to self - stop reading the last 100 pages of a book either on break at work or on public transport. The character developments, not just throughout the series but in this book alone were phenomenal. Juno’s style of writing makes you think you have known these characters your whole life and the clear distinction between them all enhances the loving dynamic in their friendships/relationships. This book picks back up straight after book 2 which I loved as it throws you straight back into the action, which if you’ve read book 2 then it’s a wild ride with that cliffhanger! Ciara is by far my favourite character, what an absolute queen she is! Her one liners in this book had me laughing out loud but then in true Juno Dawson style I was keeping back the tears by the next chapter. I am going to miss these characters so much I think a re-read will be needed sooner rather than later. In terms of the plot without giving it away - there’ll be the devil to pay and he’s coming to collect… If you haven’t read the HRMC series yet then PLEASE go and buy it now! If you’re waiting impatiently for Human Rites then you are in for a treat on publication day 17th July!
“Fabulous ending!!”

LOVED IT! I loved everything about this book, this series, this world! I just loved it! It was the best ending for all our Hebden Bridge girls and im just so in awe of a trilogy plus prequel novel being top tier all the way through. I found HMRC original and fun and witchy and Human Rites just doubled down on all of that in the BEST way! Its giving Charmed, Tomb Raider, Relic Hunter, The Mummy, Back to the Future and just absolutely viiiibes! For fans of the series, i think its perfect. For anyone wanting to start the series, there is no fumble at the end! Its just so much fun and so funny and relatable. I laughed out loud so many times! Thank you with my whole heart to the Publishers and Netgalley for the arc! All opinions are my own!
“The satisfying conclusion to a fantastic series”

And so it's over. The third and final Her Majesty's Royal Coven book delivered a wild but satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Our favourite ladies are back, ready to bring the fight, and it's as chaotic and fearsome as you'd expect. This is not even a little bit suitable for anyone who hasn't read the prior books, but if you haven't already, you really should get straight to them as they're both excellent five star reads. For those who've been waiting a couple of years since the last outing, there is an excellent character summary and catch up at the start to help set the scene. I really wish more series did this. No spoilers. This is the big one, the wrap up, the coup de grâce. You'll want to set aside some time because, as with the prior books, once things get moving it's really hard to put this down. The series has been an absolute treat from start to finish, and I hope we get to see more of this world in the future.
“What a fantastic conclusion to the series”

I have tried to delay finishing this book so much because I didn't want this series to end!! I even paused my reading to wait for the audiobook to be released but alas! It is so addictive that once I started the audiobook I couldn't bloody stop myself! All our faves are there and some cameos from some seemingly gone characters tops but I won't spoil who or when. The unraveling of the ball of mess in Ciara's wake and the ever looming prophecy of "Leviathan Will Rise!" is all covered but nothing feels rushed or under done. Im so sad that it's over! This book felt like Buffy and charmed rolled into one! There was sisterhood and demon hunting and fighting and smart arse remarks at inappropriate times but most of all there was the tying up of all the threads I had been waiting for. Now don't get me wrong some of those tyings up blew my tiny mind and I had to really think about some of it for it to make sense in my brain timeline wise (iykyk) and there were some parts I was screeching "NOOOOOO!!! Fix it!!" But this was a fabulous conclusion to what has been an epic and masterful trilogy of witchiness! Bow down witches indeed
“Great finale to a brill series”

A lovely tied-up end of the series. The girls friendship was the best part of the book and all the characters were written so well. The plot twist (or character reveal I guess) wasn't predictable (for me anyway) and I loved the 90s nostalgia and throwbacks. If I had one negative comment it would be that the pacing was off a bit, dragging at the start and then a bit rushed with the finale. I've loved reading HMRC and would absolutely read a sequel of the kids grown up.
