Reviews: Howards End (1)
“Beautiful tale”
(Paperback)
I bought Howards End because the BBC are dramatizing it for showing on TV later in 2017. I've read Forster's work before but "Howards End I think stands out and is, in my view, totally captivating. Forster succinctly and with little fuss creates really convincing characters and brings to life the extraordinary social divisions that existed 100 years ago or so. The book was filmed in 1992 and won awards but read the book.
