A fascinating book. I think it will appeal to anyone with even the slightest interest in the world of exotic or unusual plants. It's an easy read and beautifully illustrated. A book that can make you smile.
“Gorgeous and informative”

I’m a huge plant nerd and I’ve been collecting plant books for years, so I jumped at the opportunity to get this book. Leafing through it, I’m so glad I did, and I think plant newbies will love it as much or more than I do! It’s definitely my new favourite coffee table book. The botanical illustrations are beautiful, and the way each page is designed makes the information really easy to absorb. The range of plants also really pleased me – it runs from pinterest-famous flowers to commonplace plants, indoor to outdoor plants, and world record holders to things I’ve never heard of. Best of all – each one has a ‘can I keep this at home’ section, including tid bits about their care. Any difficult words or Latin are explained in simple terms, and don’t detract from the writing at all. Huge fan, and I think it’ll make a great gift book as well.
