I've read books by both authors previously and not really cared much for those. However, HIM is one of my favourite New Adult books of all time. I know that not many people will care for M/M romance, but I was so freaking happy that the authors shied away from the typical stereotypes that are placed on gay people. The characters were so real, honest and their relationship was so fluid and fleshed out. The development from friendship to relationship was really interesting to read about and I enjoyed how it was never rushed. I honestly didn't expect to love it as much as I did, especially as I hadn't enjoyed the Off-Campus series by Elle Kennedy, but now I definitely want more M/M romance from Bowen and Kennedy.

Fast paced and full of romance. HIM will definitely be top of your ratings. One of my favourite reads of 2022. There is something so likeable about the 2 protagonists and you fall into their lives with such love and affection. I couldn’t put it down. 10/10 from me.
