Reviews: Hidden Faces (2)
“Strong characters in an easy-read novel that will make you laugh.”
(Paperback)
by Anne Todd
I am the author of this book, so somewhat biased! However, the comments from other, unrelated readers, assure me that this is a book many people will enjoy. The characters are realistic, and they struggle with real issues - it is a book that especially mothers and teachers will relate to. People tell me they have 'laughed out loud' when reading some chapters, and many readers have requested I write a sequel, because they want to read more about the characters. Go on - take a risk on a new author - I'm confident you will enjoy Hidden Faces. Thank you.
“Made me laugh”
(Paperback)
by Elizabeth Todd
This is a nice book, something to read while curled up next to a fire or lazing on the beach somewhere warm. It has a couple of exciting bits, but mostly it’s just an interesting read. The characters are thoughtfully portrayed - they feel like real people and you start to care about what happens to them. It’s also funny. Very funny. Loved it. A good book to buy for other people because there’s nothing horrid in it. I even lent mine to my mother!
