Female Dr. Frankenstein? Who knew this was something that I would want to read and not only that, thoroughly enjoy it! This was such an interesting book and I really fell into this world. The world was described so that you really feel like you are there with the characters and the imagery was great. The relationship between Victoria and her father was also wonderful and I really loved their moments together. I did feel like this was a tad longer than it needed to be with some repetitiveness and the middle was a little slower than I like but I'm glad I pushed through because the story was wonderful. I am so glad some just desserts were delivered to the baron and his son because man, were they obnoxious. This book is marked as the second in a series, but this can be read as a standalone novel.
