“Fantastic Book”
(Paperback)

I love this book because it puts a different perspective on The Alice and Wonderland books because it is from the Queen of Hearts view. I absolutely recommend this book as it fantastic.
“Enthralling and heart wrenching romatasy retelling”
(Paperback)
by Katie T - Newcastle Waterstones
This is quite possibly one of my favourite stand alone books of all time. An almost prequel to the Alice in Wonderland books, it brings a gutwrenching past to the queen of hearts, yet doesn't take away from the evil character that Lewis Carroll created. Despite not often reading books for their romance, wow was the romance the best bit. The plot was incredible, fast paced and intriguing. But the romance had me blushing, butterflies, and crying all the way throughout. As a lover of the Alice in Wonderland universe, I adore this book and the respect it pays to the original work while also creating such a brilliant story of its own. I just love this book and cannot stop saying it.
“PHENOMENAL ”
(Paperback)
by Hannah Dingle
I was so exited to read this book just from reading the blurb, and I have to say it was not a disappointment! Marissa Meyer created a whole new way of looking at the Red Queen and yet at the same time stayed true to Lewis Carroll. I absolutely couldn't put it down, and had finished it in all of a few hours. Absolutely loved the way it was written and it just completely transported you so that you felt like you were there with her in Hearts. I felt like this book was written with such passion.
“INCREDIBLE”
(Paperback)
by Freya Smith
all i can say is this book is an invigorated mix of dark beloved mysteries, with an air of a divinely inspired romance. written to correspond with lewis carrols classic but so beautifully romantic. phenomenal must read. bittersweet.
“an enthralling, captivating masterpiece”
(Paperback)
by shreeja sharma
whilst this may be an exaggeration to some, heartless is quite simply an amazing book, and whilst the writing is not quite jane austen and it is quite childlike and whimsical at times; there is a certain gravitation to this book for me. it is a book to enjoy, love and return to time and time again
