This book 'Glimmers' for me feels like a gentle therapy book, it reminds you to be more present in your life; to look for the glimmers, whilst it discusses your nervous system too.
It's not a book I can just read from page to page, it is a book that leaves me reflecting from page to page.
Having read it, one of the big takeaways I took is the 4 breaths. Having experienced issues sleeping, bordering on insomnia, all I do now is remember to take and hold 4 breaths once in bed and as the authors state within your nervous system it resets itself and tells you everything is calm, and that alone allows my brain to switch off and settle down.
I managed to secure a pre-released copy from Waterstones and now the book is officially released it will become one of the most talked about books in 2026.
I will definitely read more about my nervous system because of this book.
