Reviews: Getting Things Done (2)
“Excellent guide to getting more done in less time”
(Paperback)
by Rob Peacock
I've read many a book on productivity but always seem to slip back into the old habits. Dave Allen promises something a little different and by and large he delivers it. His advice (such as to get everything down on paper to clear the mental clutter and create organised lists for projects) is pretty simple but super practical and the way he delivers it drove me to action in a way that other guides had failed to do. Ironically for a book on productivity, the book is a little long and I skipped through some parts but following his advice has certainly helped me. I'd highly recommend you read this...just make sure you block out big chunks of time to get through it
“Good useful advice”
(Paperback)
by Charlie Halderman
A welcome addition to the wealth of books on time management. Slightly US-centric and a little repetitive, but well worth a read.
