Langenscheidt is probably better to utilise but for pocket convenience and simple practicality this text; a visual German dictionary is useful for beginners and for the more fluent in reminding one of essentials and nouns we may have forgotten. It's a good price for succinctness and I suggest buying a verb table book and also a primer grammar text would help to use this illustrated worterbuch even more efficiently. It's worth a purchase and easy to dip-in.
