“She’s a magician in the kitchen”

“Interesting and Enlightening”
(Hardback)
by Too many books not enough time
When I received a free copy of this book, I thought it would be just interesting to see the recipes, but on reading, I am salivating at the thought of cooking from this book. I thought it would be completely far out fusion and it’s not, in her recipe for beans she says the addition of chocolate and spices is not traditional, but then the recipe and the book is not for purists which sums her ethos of cooking traditional and fusion food. Many recipes are similar to global recipes with additions that work. Ixta says it’s hard to cover everything about Brazil in her book, but she shares is both interesting and enlightening. Whole heartedly recommend this book for food enthusiasts everywhere. Ixta is known for working creatively with Ottolenghi. As a former chef I am sold.
