This book is such a perfect gift for any nature lover; it is absolutely beautiful and provides a wonderful insight into some lesser known facts on fungi.

Bought for my sister who's become very interested in all things 'funghi' in the last 12+ months. So while I haven't read the book, and my review is based entirely upon her reaction, I'd say it is a cracker of a book that would delight anyone who wants to learn about funghi; not necessarily the identification of them etc but just what's what in the funghi world. My sister read the entire book on Boxing Day and it's still on her side table now. For someone who 'doesn't read much' (her words), I'd say it was a success as a gift and a useful, and beautiful little book. Also very reasonable at £10.99!
