Great service again from the Number 1 book shop.

I enjoyed this book from David's early life through the heartbreak of losing a child and six years as PM. David Cameron gets some bad press and blame for the brexit mess we are in at the moment, but how many PM'S have given the people three referendum's Europe, Scotland and alternative vote, which I had forgotten all about. This is a very honest book David tells you about his successes and also the things he got wrong. If you are interested in British politics this is a must read book.

I waited a long time for the book. It is a great in site on the life of a Prime minister and the hard work they do David Cameron his writing is fantastic and a must read what ever party you support. There is sad times when he lost his son. Also plenty of fun moments also.

I have an interest in politics and the Conservative Party so pre-ordered a copy of this book, expecting it to be quite staid and hard going. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found it both interesting and well written as if talking directly to the reader. Cameron wanted to create a better Party and better country and is honest enough to say he was not always successful but some of his ‘memories’ I will take with a pinch of salt. Very interesting insight into the problems of working in a coalition. My biggest disappointment is that I would have liked more detail, but with so much to cover it is already 700+ pages long so I guess this was a necessary compromise. Well worth a read if you want to know why we are still waiting for Brexit!

You can also burn it to keep warm when times are tough. Keep the chapter about the pig though, it's rather raunchy ?
