“Flesh House”
(Paperback)
i couldn't put this down it was fantastic can't wait for the new one
“Bloody brilliant!”
(Paperback)
I am completely adicted to MacBride, I did read the usual girly stuff and was completely bored, never managing to reach the end of a book, did not know what else to try as I love a good book, my partner suggested Macbride and I have read up to Flesh House and I never read books so quickly I cannot put them down!
If you love a great crime read, strong and exciting characters, wonderful plots, stories you just cannot get enough of, and lots of blood! don't hesitate buy this book!!! Forget the girly stuff!
“Prepare to convert to vegetarianism!”
(Paperback)
This is a particularly grim and gruesome crime thriller which due to the horrific nature of the crimes, really gripped me from the start - nobody was safe, and the number of killings really made it feel like a race against time. Not for the squeamish and you may find yourself a vegetarian by the end of it!
“Amazing story...”
(Paperback)
I was lucky enough to get Stuart Macbrides first book and was immediately hooked that I went to buy the whole series. If you are a fan of murder stories and police work you will love Stuarts stories. Despite the gritty nature of the books he some how manages to weave in some dark humour - and the characters are so realistic that you feel you get to know them. Logan McRae - you can't help but feel for him - always caught in the middle of eveybody elses politics! Keep writing them Stuart - I have not felt this impressed by an author of a similar genre since Patricia Cornwell - but I would say Stuarts books are even better!
“Best So Far!”
(Paperback)
This book is the best in the series so far. The storyline is interesting and I love all the gore which was not in the previous books.
