I loved this utterly romantic book! This book is more than a love story, it’s a book of healing, reflection and community. From going back to your Northern roots and reconnecting with a culture and setting which just wraps you up like a warm hug. The romance is both gentle and genuine and hot and intense. This couple needed one another and I needed this book. Excellent representation of AuDHD and how more open and understanding reflective conversations are needed. A wonderful contemporary romance

Fix Them Up Kat has ADHD and Dyslexia so sees the world differently and at times has trouble navigating her emotions. When her estranged father dies he leaves her his house in Everly Heath Manchester. Kat takes time out of her job in London to renovate the house with a view to increase its value to sell. Enter Liam a grumpy builder who her fathers family persuade to help her , they have met before and it did not go at all well. This book is a joy to read, a wonderful slow burn romance with a cast of great characters with wonderful personalities and sparkling humorous dialogue and laugh out loud moments. That said there is a lot of emotional heart rending situations that give an added depth. Hopefully we will visit Everly Heath in the not to distant future and see how other characters develop. I loved this book so much that I read it in one sitting! Kat was such an awesome FMC - neuro diversity FTW! it was such a nice change to read a book not based in London and also loved the dynamic of the story being based around a house reno - particularly with sentimental meaning. I'm so looking forward to book 2!!!!
