“Brilliant”
(Paperback)
by Elaine Waterstones Trowbridge
With twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat, this novel was unputdownable, very clever.

Brilliantly written. Loved the twist and turns. Couldn't put it down. Superb read. Would definitely recommend this book.
“A draw marks the end of a winning formula?”
(Paperback)
by Mark Rasdall
Like so many other readers, I have been presented with new titles from Jeffrey Archer for seemingly forever. It is being suggested that this will be his final novel. I'll believe it when there is nothing left to read... I hadn't read any of his books for some time, but his storytelling formula soon became familiar again. I'm not sure if people with vested interests are being deliberately rude about his stories being 'airport books' or if they just don't like what they perceive him as being like as a person in real life. I don't really care. I started reading this at Heathrow while waiting for a plane to take me to Miami. It probably wasn't the best idea to be immediately reacquainted with the events of 9/11. The action moves along pretty quickly, as you'd expect, with little time for in-depth character development or literary niceties. This is what you sign up for, though. It works because you have to get to the end of the story. You have to know what happens. I didn't actually like the ending that much, though. Perhaps it's time to call it a day after all?
