Just spent a weekend with my niece (10) destroying my wife and I in this game over and over again. It's funny and rewards probability inspired strategy. Great fun.

It took a little while to digest the rules (maybe a game or two) but once we had realised the sadistic chaos that we could impose on the other players, the fun really started. I played this many times on Boxing day with family aged from 10 to 60 and we had so much fun.

Not too long or too short, and has a few good jokes. Would definitely recommend. Better for more players than just a couple, though.

Exploding kittens is definitely an all time favourite of mine. The main goal of the game is trying to avoid getting exploded by one of the kitten cards, and for that you have several hilarious diffusing cards you need to strategise throughout the game. The best part is 100% the puns and jokes on every card, accompanied by amazing illustrations (my personal favourite is ‘Getting slaved by party squirrels’). The game may need a couple trial runs to fully get used to the rules but it’s more than worth it to play with friends of family! Be careful though, it WILL ruffle some feathers. PLAY IT!!

I bought this as I was going on holiday with my two grandsons aged 11 and 15, not knowing how it would be received, but hoping for the best. They loved it! We all loved it. Easy to play but with the right amount of tactics.
