This is a great collection of varied horror/fantasy stories. I think this contains some of King's most memorable and interesting plots, in particular "The Man in the Black Suit", "The Road Virus Heads North" and "Lunch at the Gotham Café" will stay with you after reading. The scariest is probably "1408" which concerns a haunted hotel room. Overall, this is a collection which any horror fan will enjoy.
