For all those who are sceptical that this book won't live up the ever praised 'Twilight' series, you are wrong! I could not put this book down for love nor money and had to order the next two in the series straight away. The characters of Bianca and Lucas are well developed and provide many a twist throughout its 250 pages). I finished this within a day of starting (work stopped me from reading it in one sitting!). I urge those who are anxious of the 'teen' stigma of vampire books to give it a go!!

There's a boarding school full of beautiful people and 'Bianca' who does not fit in with any of them but when she meet's 'Lucas' she starts to feel there's hope after all. As time passes Bianca finds herself spending more and more time with Lucas much against her 'friends' wishes, strange things start to happen and school secrets threaten thier new relationship.....BUT a bigger twist is about to test them on a whole new level, prepare to be shocked! A great read!

I never really got into the vampire craze but as soon as you pick up this book you cannot put it down! It has everything you could wish for: action, tension, romance and an exciting twist! whether you like Twilight or not and even if you hate the idea of vampires you will love this book! I can't really describe how fantastic this book is! As soon as the sequel (Stargazer) came out I was straight down to Waterstones to buy my copy! Such a great book for teenagers.. and adults! If you're not convinced just try this first book... you won't regret it!

I have read all of the books in the Evernight book series and i have to say that i really enjoyed them, especially this one. I only read this because of the review on the front by LJ Smith who is one of my favourite authors and she was right about it being a good book. I really enjoyed this one. I think all kids should read Evernight, i think that maybe even adults would enjoy this book as there are some mature themes in it. I URGE YOU TO READ!!!
