Erimem was a companion created for the fifth doctor audio stories from big finish. She was a great character played perfectly by actress caroline Morris (providing a foreword to this novel) who travelled with the doctor for some time before leaving. This novel is written by erimem creator iain McLaughlin and his occasional writing partner claire Bartlett. It sees erimem return to earth with no memory of her time with the doctor (thus removing any complicated rights issues) and becoming involved with various new characters. The story is very good, I liked how they reintroduced erimem who was a favourite character of mine in this new series. The new characters are well done and the story ends with new possibilities for erimem to explore beyond the confines of 21st century earth. Thebes is a small company but the books are nicely designed and good quality. There are typos but frankly several big publishers have the same level of errors. A great start to the series.
