I really, really don't like this book. For one, it glamourises abusive realationships. Let me tell you, the main charectors, Bella's love intrest, Edward, is supposedly a vampire, although he does not drink human blood, is good looking and sparkles. Yes, SPARKLES.Say the word.Mary Sue.The charectors are flat as carboard, with no personality. Edward destroys his girlfriends car to prevent her seeing her best friend, which I personally would react to by instant dumping, Bella (Prepare to be angry femenists) has no backbone and swoons and expects to be saved by Edward 24 hours a day. The charectors are all perfect, graceful, kind ect. WHAT on earth happened to complex, grey charectors who had personality. Don't spend your money on this. Use it on something useful, like loo roll or some winter boots. Whatever. Just not this book, for the sake of good literature,

I must have been feeling masochistic when I picked up this book. I (mistakenly) thought that this was the final part of a trilogy, and so I figured "What the hell? I've read the other two." and boy did I regret it. First up: Edward Cullen. How could anyone fall in love with this over-controlling, manipulative, irritating little... As for: Jacob Black. All I saw was a spoilt little boy and potential rapist! And finally: Her Father. Bella seemed to spend most of this book grounded. (She's 18! A legal adult). And what's more, grounded for having a boyfriend. (I'll repeat myself: She's 18! A legal adult). It would generally appear that all the men in Bella's life have the potential to seriously p!$$ me off. As with New Moon the story seem rushed, as if it had been written on a tight dead line (it probably was). What started with the potential to be a nice little dark romance has become far to angst ridden for me. But what did I expect from teenage fiction? I suppose the popularity of this saga is just something that I'm never going to understand. And to make matters worse, I'm now reading the fourth one! Damn my inability to leave a story unfinished!

I must have been feeling masochistic when I picked up this book. I (mistakenly) thought that this was the final part of a trilogy, and so I figured "What the hell? I've read the other two." and boy did I regret it. I'm so sorry to all those teenage girls out there who are head over heels in love with Edward Cullen, but why? What is wrong with you? How could anyone fall in love with this over-controlling, manipulative, irritating little... and as for Jacob Black, all I saw was a spoilt little boy and potential rapist! And as for her father... how on Earth do you ground an 18 year old? How do you ground a legal adult? And the reason she spent most of this book in situ? - for having a boyfriend!!! "18 year old girl grounded for having a boyfriend" - give me a break! This may seem a harsh opinion, but it is my opinion. It would seem that every last character throughout these books has the potential to seriously p!$$ me off.
