⭐️ Rating: 4.5/5
Everything I felt was missing in Book 1 shows up here in Book 2—and wow, it delivered. The story picks up right where Unhinged left off and the pace is even faster.
Grey– still a walking red flag This book makes it crystal clear why. He’s mentally unstable, unhinged, and downright savage. No sugarcoating it.
Theo – my love for him just keeps growing . Yes, he’s a criminal (don’t judge me!), but there’s something about him. I’d say yes to Theo anytime, no hesitation. I have a feeling he’ll get even wilder in Book 3, and I cannot wait.
Damon – now this one surprised me. I didn’t like him at all in Book 1, but Book 2 changed things - especially after the halfway point. My feelings about him are mixed right now , but I’m curious to see where his character goes.
What truly broke my heart was seeing how the people in the facility believe they don’t deserve any goodness at all - as if they have no souls, no hope for change, and nothing but darkness inside them.
They’re broken people, shattered by their childhoods and families, and forced into darkness. It’s easy to forget they never saw good, so how could they know how to be good? Still, it’s beautiful to see how even a single spark of light can show them a different path.
Overall, I can’t put into words how much I adore this series . It’s a dark, gritty romance I never knew I needed until now.
