I will admit that I loved the first book more however it was still great. There’s something about Sam’s character that has me so engrossed in his life and I ship him and Rachel together! I don’t know what it is but I’m very connected to the characters, any deaths kill me a little but that’s what a good book should do. I don’t want to have to say goodbye to the fictional characters within this book. I can read this time and time again because it is great. Although there are some aspects of the book I find disappointing purely because it feels as though too much is trying to happen at once the book is still great. This is definitely one for all sci-if lovers and a book you should all try! You might be surprised when you read it. This book is one where you need to read the first in the series beforehand but it’s worth it. Perfect for you or a gift.
