Such an unbelievably complex and soul-destroying setting, the sharp end of our fossil fuel lives. How Beaton manages so much understanding and humanity and reflection is a sign of a sort of genius. The drawing, characterisation etc is wonderful. A real masterpiece

The graphic novel makes you feel like you're working alongside her, powerless to change anything just like she was. Within the pages there is so much nuanced commentary on feminism, capitalism, and environmentalism tied together by Beaton's distinct drawing style. Is the money worth it?
