My daughter and I love this book, it’s so fun. She really enjoyed finding Doris throughout the book. The message behind the book is all about being able to stand out (not that my daughter has an issue with that)

Doris is such a delightful character. You will immediately fall in love with this shy little elephant hiding in a series of beautiful colourful settings. The illustrations are super and small children will delight in this story with its positive message. I will be keeping an eye out for the next book with the rhino!! - This will definitely be one I will be doing for our Story Time.

A lovely picture book with a great message: it's OK to be different.

Doris is a very cute, VERY red little Elephant who is also incredible shy. She doesn’t want anyone looking at her so she goes in search of blending in. This is a vivid and bright book where every page is FULL , Doris is hidden in pages so makes a really fun activity to try and find her. This is ultimately a story about embracing yourself and building courage and it makes a great story for any child. Also any book that features an elephant called DORIS is a winner in my eyes !!!

Doris is a beautifully illustrated tale of a shy elephant who does not like to be looked at. Through the story we see Doris attempt (and ultimately fail) to try and fit in amongst different crowds. With a hint of inter-activeness throughout the book paired with the vibrant colours used, Doris is the perfect story for little ones struggling to overcome their shyness and growing into their personalities.
