It took us a little longer to understand the rules than it probably should have. But once we got them we had such a fun time. Its a fun mix between Dobble and 4 in a row! The extra element of matching your colour cards, stopping others matching their colour cards all whilst trying to find your matching picture adds an element of excitement and lots of giggles. We played with an 8 year old and a 3 year old, both really enjoyed it but the 3 year old did need extra help (and be allowed an occasional cheat move) I'd highly recommend for family game nights This product was gifted but the review was honest

We’ve never played normal Dobble before but were sent this to try and my family loves a good game afternoon. Especially with this so called British summertime we’re having. Both my husband and I read the instructions and while we couldn’t totally make sense of it we gave it a good go. It was fun trying to match the pictures and they were also nice and bright and definitely appealing to children. I’m not totally sure we’ve been playing it correctly but the rules we’ve come up with seem to work and it’s given us lots of fun

Dobble connect is all about connecting a row of 4 cards, using the symbols to match. We have mixed reviews in this house... I love it; it's fast-paced, simple concept and as always handy to throw in the bag for taking out and about. Our boys also love the fast pace nature of game once they got the hang of it BUT 2 of them are colour blind and the colours around the different hexagons are difficult for them to identify when side by side, making it trickier for them to play solo without chaos ensuing. Overall, it's another great family game, fast paced, quick action which is lots of fun, just be prepared for family wars - although not quite on monopoly scale thankfully!

Fans of dobble will love this new connected version

We have had a great time playing dobble connect since getting it. My family love playing this kind of finding game and this one adds a bit of extra play value with the connect feature which once we worked it out was fab and gave the game more structure.. My only negative is how confusing the instructions were at first. It really isn't very complicated but somehow (and it might just of been me!) They seemed really hard to understand. As I said it really isn't complicated and once you start you quickly get the hang of it.. Glad we persevered as this has become a firm favourite in our house getting played several times a week. In my mind that makes it a fabulous purchase-anything that gets the kids off their tablets and having fun as a family has got to be a winner!
