We received this game in exchange for an honest review. Great handy sized box that’s easy to pack for holidays / picnics/ parties etc. The instructions seem a little tricky to get your head around , but once you’ve got it it’s brilliant . There are so many ways to play & the kids ended up making up little games between them too . I like how everyone can get involved, as a family who loves card games sometimes the little one gets fed up , but she and the teenagers all loved it becoming very competitive at times :)!! All in all another great game to add to the collection.

This game is so much better. it's amazing quality. My son and daughter loved matching up the pictures. You can have hours of fun

So I’m not going to lie getting my head round the instructions took a few reads but once I did this was brilliant and the kids loved it all from 6 to 18 they got the hang of it in no time. A fab addition to the Dobble range we do have loads now to be fair and I do love the original but this comes in close especially as there is more thinking to be done trying to stop others getting a line so it defo adds to the excitement I would highly recommend for sure and it’s another fab game to take on your holidays.

Having loved the original Dobble, I was excited to try this new twist on the game - and it did not disappoint! Another fun, fast paced and exciting, albeit infuriating when you cannot find a match, game. The twist here is to match the symbols to get four of your coloured cards in a row, while blocking your friend's coloured cards from doing the same. This adds a level of strategy that was missing in the previous game, which we really liked as it meant that naturally gifted people (weirdly the younger children) at spotting matches wouldn't run away with the victory. Also there is a neat 'handicap' system in the game which lengthens the game and adds more strategy. If you loved the original, then this is definitely one to get!

Firstly we had never played the game Dobble before so it was all new to us. So please don’t judge our version of how to play. So from reading the game rules which I must say I found very confusing we ended up putting out own spin to it from what we interpreted from the rules. Dobble connect is a new range from the Dobble game and what I learnt was it’s basically a mash up of connect four and Dobble. I have played connect four so understood you needed four in a row to win and the sim of the game is to block your opponent. With Dobble you need to find the matching symbol on the card. In this game it’s not about taking turns it’s about who can find the matching symbol the quickest. There is no turn taking. We have played this now a few times and as a family and I must say we have had so much fun and laughs (mainly at my expense) it’s so fast paced and really gets your brain working. Would we recommend yes! It’s a lot of fun confusing but fun and basically you can interpret the game and change it to suit you.
