We love this game. It’s Dobble and connect 4 all rolled into one! Who wouldn’t love that!!

I LOVE the original Dobble, so when I found out about Dobble Connect, I already had high expectations. The original concept is so simple, perfect for all ages; Dobble Connect raises the age-suitably just slightly higher as there is a little more thought involved to win each round. The idea still involves matching symbols but you need to do this to match 4 cards of your own colour, to win the round. I think it’s a simple but fab concept and I’ve very much enjoyed playing Dobble Connect on rainy days in with my family.

Wow I didn’t think Dobble could get any better until Dobble Connect came out! It’s so fast, it’s so fun and really competitive! It’s a game for two player and more with teams, it’s just such a good family & friends game. Love the colourfulness of the design and the lovely glossy cards. It’s a fund not to be missed!

This is a brilliant game for all ages. We played with our kids (7 and 10) and we ended up also playing just as adults! It’s fast, furious and fun, it gets the brain cogs turning and the need to get 4 cards of your chosen colour in a row adds to the complexity. It’s perfect to pack in a bag and take on holiday, day out etc and can be played for hours. It’s a great game which is genuinely fun for adults and kids rather than adults playing a “kids” game. We carried on playing well after they had gone to bed. I was given this for free in return for an honest review and we genuinely loved it.

We absolutely loved this game! The next level of dobble. Like the original you have to match up the pictures but in dobble connect there’s not always a match and you have to watch out for other players cards to be able to place. The game works like connect 4 vs dobble where you need to get 4 in a row (virtually, diagonally but not around the hexagon). Win the black card to win the point and depending on how many players there are depends how many points you need to win overall. Easy to pick up the rules and play. It says from 8 years old on the box but my nearly 6 year old loves it and understands fine. As this game can also be played in teams the younger members can always team up with an adult for help (although I secretly loved winning a 1 vs 2 moment tonight haha!) I like there’s a strategy element to the game where you can try to stop your opponents from winning by blocking their line. Game is great for home play but also taking on holiday (although there would not be enough room to play on an airplane tray). Would be suitable for all members of the family and great for games nights both with young people or a group of adults. We loved it and highly recommend. Our new favourite game! Great for all dobble lovers.
