Just read Do No Disturb by Freida McFadden. What a corker of a read Twists and turns never would have guessed the outcome. First time I have read Freida but it certainly won't be the last.

I think this is one of her best books yet. I was captivated from the very beginning and found myself completely drawn into the story. The plot, characters, and pacing all came together in a way that really stood out, making it a truly memorable read.

Just what I needed! Such an entertaining read that had me promising myself ‘just one more chapter’. Yes, I guessed the final twist and I’m sure if I really put my mind to it I could have guessed a few more but I just have fun reading Freida’s books and try not to dissect everything written and just enjoy the ride! This was a really quick and easy read and was just what you'd expect from a Frieda McFadden book: quickly paced and full of twists. This clearly had influence from the movie Pyscho as the setting and plot did feel pretty similar and very familiar. I did predict quite a few of the twists early on so found myself just building up to them. The characters were also all so unlikeable which did make me feel slightly disconnected from them as I had no idea who I was rooting for. Overall this was really easy thriller to read in a couple of sittings but probably won't be open I'll be thinking about much after the last page.

Obviously heavily influenced by Psycho, this is a quick, simple and entertaining read. There's not much depth to either plot or characterisation though, and it all gets a bit silly at the end, but it is quite a fun read.
