Reviews: Do No Harm (57)
“A shocker of a thriller”
(Hardback)
This is a shocker of a thriller that will grip you and you won’t be able to put down until the last page.
What would you do it your child’s life was put on the line? The choice is kill someone on the operating tablet or let your child die. This is the choice put to the surgeon in this novel.
This is a compulsive read and you have no idea of the twists and turns it will follow.
You can tell a book is well written if it makes you feel uncomfortable and gets under your skin.
Expect some sleepless nights!
“Gripping”
(Paperback)
Gripping thriller based on three female protagonists - Anna a cardiac surgeon, Margot a theatre nurse & Rachel a detective.
When Anna’s son is kidnapped & she must kill an MP the story unfolds. Fast paced thriller which made it difficult to put down. Very good read.
“What a ride!”
(Hardback)
This is the third book that I read by Jack Jordan and now I can tell that he is a great author!
Do No Harm kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first chapter. It was fast-faced, with a great amount of action and both, likeable and unlikeable characters that made the journey more entertaining.
Once we got to the end of the first part, I didn't know what else to expect because everything seemed kind of solved already.
Little did I know the amount of action that I was in for! I really liked where the story went, what the characters had to go through and the ending.
Without any doubt, this is a solid 4⭐
“Wow!”
(Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book every time I picked it up! I did however feel like there was something missing from the ending, I can’t quite put my finger on it. Looking forward to read more by this author
“Binge read with bated breath”
(Hardback)
And breathe! I binge read this with bated breath. Skilled heart surgeon Anna arrives home to discover that her son has been kidnapped. In order to save him, she must botch up a surgery on an eminent politician and literally get away with murder. This moral dilemma had me gripped from the first page. As a mother, you automatically root for the child. However, this is a multi POV narration and we soon learn that things are not so clear cut. This is a tense and pacey read. The ending gave me the chills! #donoharm #jackjordan
