“Riveting Page Turner”

I really loved this book, just when you thought you knew where it was taking you, it threw you off. I generally read at night and found myself going to bed a little earlier and really looking forward to picking up the characters once again to see what twists and turns they held for me. First time I have read this author, but will certainly not be the last. Excellent story telling.

“A Really Good Book”
(Paperback)

This book was really good. If anyone was to ask me to recommend a book that’s fast paced and has you on the edge of your seat it would be this one. Before reading it the blurb pulled me in and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Without spoiling it, I’d just have to say give it a read. It was one of those books that would have you finding your next window of opportunity to continue reading. Really pulls you in. I will say however I thought the ending could have been a bit better I felt there was a lot of build up and I just felt the ending could have been better. None the less I’d still recommend this book, it’s an easy read and one to remember.

This was thrilling, intense and fast paced! I couldn’t put it down. The characters were all so real, I could feel my heart racing with each twist and turn. Cannot recommend this enough!
“Heart-stopping thriller that is hard to put down!”

I adore lots of books, but this one got me excited like no other! Do No Harm is about heart surgeon Anna Jones. She is scheduled to operate on a high profile patient, and unfortunately for her, people want him dead. Anna comes home the day before the surgery to find her home invaded and her son Zack missing. If she wants to see her son alive again, she must kill her patient. Her son or her oath? She must decide… This is a fantastic crime/thriller story, one of the best I’ve read (and I’ve read a LOT). The pacing is excellent, and it is just effortless to read. The narrative is split between surgeon Anna, surgical nurse Margot and detective Rachel, and I felt that this really kept the momentum going. I was gripped throughout, as Jordan teases the reader at the end of each chapter so I never wanted to put it down! Characterisation is well executed too; you truly get a sense of why the characters are acting the way they are. Emotions such as maternal love, guilt, panic, loss, grief, remorse and terror are perfectly woven throughout, giving the three leading women an emotional depth that can be missing from some thrillers. Yes the plot is vital and moves the story along, but the way the characters do what they do is just as important for me. A lot of characters are quite grey, neither wholly good or bad, which I think helps them to become even more relatable. No one is perfect, so how would we react to the events of the story? A fantastic read to the very end, which was heart-stopping stuff-ironic for a story about a heart surgeon
