Review from natalya age 12 Divergent by Veronica Roth Wow! Reading this book was one of the most exciting things my mind has ever done. I was hooked from page one. Each chapter getting better and better. Each page full of thrilling surprises. A brilliant read. A book everyone needs to read. A new hunger game.

This is the best book, it grips you from the start. I immediately fell in love with the characters. You can really feel the emotions in the book and the way the author describes the scenes you feel as if you are right there with the characters. I would have to say that this is the best book that I have read in ages and i can't wait until number 2 arrives :)

Divergent is a really great read. i could not put it down. the world that Roth has created is detailed and well realised with out being overly complicated. her characters are also fully rounded and i was desperate to find out what would happen to them. if you like reading young adult fiction or fantasy fiction and enjoy a really character driven plot then this is for you! i cant wait to read what else Roth has to offer. x

This book..... Well I read it after the hunger games trilogy and I felt this book was a great follow on from that. It's very hunger gamesy but I have to give it credit because I read this book in 2 days I just could not put it down every time I tried something happened making me read more. I am not one for crying but this made me ball, and thats saying something. Great book for people still in the hunger games/dystopia funk, but also great as a book on its own.

After reading the Hunger Games, I found the amazing 'genre' of "Dystopia" novels. Divergent is definitely one of my favourites! The sequel, Insurgent, is just as amazing. Recommend to anyone who likes the Hunger Games and similar books!
