Talk about grabbing a reader's attention. Jaye Wells managed to have me from the very beginning. I love her writing style and the way she slowly reveals the world in which we find our heroine Kate Prospero. Dirty magic is an intriguing police procedural in a world of magic (for some). This is an excellent story and the 'interesting' relationship dynamics - with the echoes of the past colouring the present. K
