Reviews: Deception Point (4)
“Absolutely Brilliant!”
(Paperback)
Fantastic choice for fans of the scientific/technical brand of thrillers and fans of Michael Crichton - this was a fast paced and thoroughly enjoyable read.
The book centres around a presidential election campaign and the effects of a fantatsic discovery by NASA scientists in the Arctic. The story line evolves in short chapters, switching between characters and locations to keep the tension high.
I found this book almost impossible to put down as I was constantly reading on to find the resolution to cliff hanger chapter endings and I was literally on the edge of my seat for the nail biting final chapters!
Full of brilliant twists and turns, amazing facts (or maybe fictions) and wonderfully drawn characters this is a book I will be recommending over and over again.
“Deception Point:”
(Paperback)
I just finished reading this book last night, and it took me under a week to read.
It was a fantastic read, from the first page to the last. Having read The Da Vinci Code & Angels And Demons beforehand, I was unsure about a Dan Brown book that DIDN'T have Robert Langdon in it, but my worries were pointless, as the book equalled the others in mystery, suspense and action.
“Unputdownable”
(Paperback)
An immensly brainy thriller that's guaranteed to have you racking your brains in an attempt to solve Brown's complex web of mystery. Brilliant characters, each with their own deep and dark pasts, some with plans of revenge, others with broken hearts and honest ideas, this book tells of a deception greater than ever, and villains more scheming than anyone would have ever guessed.
Full of technologies that really exist and secret organisations using everything in their power to hide what they have done, this book is a brilliant tale of everything you could ever want in a book: deception, revenge, love and a scientific mystery that could show the world a scandal like no other. Absolutely amazing.
“If there were rating for 10 stars I would give them”
(Paperback)
I love my crime Thrillers and Dan Brown doesn’t disappoint this is gripping from the first page of the book
