I LOVED this book. As an father expecting his first child this was brought to me attention and I’m so grateful. It’s so candid, open, honest and refreshing to hear someone journey. The good, the not so good and everything inbetween. The book is done in such a comical way, yet loses none of the rollercoaster of emotions and sentiment along the way. Strongly recommended. Easy listening to reassure you that you are not alone and to just keep swimming.

This book captured me instantly. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. It held my attention throughout. As a mother to 4 children myself, it was refreshing to understand the pregnancy journey through the eyes of the partner. Fantastically written, it was very comical but also emotional in parts. This book can be enjoyed by everyone.

I cannot begin to describe, just how incredible this book is. But I'll try... I originally bought this book for my husband, after reading what seems, a catalogue of manuals and must do and don'ts for pregnancy and the birth. I sneakily opened and read a couple of pages.. I ended up, finishing the book WAY before he did. Dear Dory, is an honest and humorous outlook on pregnancy and the journey it is, with some seriously, emotional moments, you find yourself fully invested in every step and eagerly anticipate the next journal entry. I've never come across a telling so truthful and a book so relatable, in every sense, including very similar personalities to myself and my husband. I ended up finishing this book, sobbing on the floor of the nursery I was painting, so happy and yet so sad this part of the life, Tom had kindly invited us into, was over. Rest assured, I will quickly be purchasing the rest of the books and cannot wait to see what Tom and his family get up to and how they grow together and individually. Thank you Tom, for making us feel like we aren't alone on this ride of a lifetime! Forever grateful. As for you, Reading this, you will not regret your purchase, I can guarantee you that much.
