I’m not sure how I have missed this author or series! I listened to this via @borrowbox and was instantly hooked on the plot and characters, Calladine was hilarious, but he seriously needs a break from his home life drama. The murders were very dark and descriptive, which I loved, I’m excited to get to know the team and their future cases over the rest of the series.

A brillant follow up, I enjoyed this just as much as the first book, the livestock tags were so eerie and odd! This was a really good plot and was interesting to see how they all linked. I loved the build up of Tom and Ruth’s working relationship, they are like an old married couple
