I've been a Tom Clancy fan for many years and have loved most of his work. Unfortunatley this book just isn't up to Tom's usual standard and left me very disappointed. It all seems just a wee bit too simple this anti-terrorism work, whilst the terrorist themselves have a very complicated agenda. The idea of an organisation that has carte blanche to committ judicial murder in different parts of the globe and then just disappear to another part of the world stretches the imagination too far. Jack Ryan snr makes an appearance but for the life of me I can't figure out why as he contributes little to the plot and unless a follow up is planned his future is just left hanging. The finale is predictable and it all ends far too neatly and simply. Not one of Tom's best efforts, must do better.
