Reviews: Creature Comforts (2)
“”
(Hardback)
I received an arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this title, I'm a big fan of Trisha Ashley as she always includes an element of the magical or in this case the spiritual.
A nice story with great characters, including some great bad guys - I also like the ties to previous novels.
Perfect escapism on a wet afternoon.
“Comfort reading with heart & humour”
(Paperback)
This is classic Trisha Ashley - bohemian woman returns to her rural Lancashire roots to set up a small business, take care of eccentric relatives and unruly pets, shake off an annoying ex, solve a mystery from her past and find a less conventional new lover along the way.
There's something very comforting about a well-worn formula and it's all done with a light touch and lashings of humour. Just the sort of book you need to cheer you up if you are feeling ill or miserable.
